Integration in post-Soviet space: new age – new horizons for research

The article analyses the main approaches in the study of integration and regionalization processes in the post-Soviet space in the beginning of the XXI century in contemporary Russian historiography. The focus is on researches that defne the general direction of post-Soviet integration and give a comprehensive analysis of the integration organizations and various factors that infuence the nature and effciency of the activities of these associations. It is concluded that the phenomenon of post-Soviet integration has not been studied comprehensively and thoroughly enough. This subject is a feld for further research and discussion to create common criteria and terminology.
