Integration of the process approach and TOPSIS methodology for assessing the well-being of Russian regions

The article is devoted to comprehension the totality of approaches to territories (regions)’ well-being assessment, namely, the relationship of concepts such as process management and sustainable development on a regional scale. Anattempt to generalize modern scientific developments in the areas of the evaluation process’ information assurance, the terminological apparatus building and available economic information processing methods implementation is taken. The subjective component of well-being is taken into account. The author's point of view regarding the assessment system and the territories welfare’ assessment process is proposed. A feature of the study is the focus on domestic practice and possibilities in the field of assessing the well-being and sustainability of territories.
