The article presents the research results devoted to the study of interaction between the current educational environment and parents' efforts to ensure a successful socio-pedagogic adaptation of left-handed children. Necessity and significance of individualisation and academic process differentiation creating prerequisites for a comprehensive development and function not only left-handed but right-handed children as well, their successful integration into modern public environment are discussed thoroughly.
