Integration of training systems for physical education teaching staff in the Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation

Statement of the problem. The article contains information on the optimization of educational processes in Korean and Russian universities in the field of training physical education teaching staff, as well as theoretical substantiation of the process of training physical education teaching staff in universities of the two countries on the basis of an integrative approach. The relevance of the problem also lies in the fact that the Republic of Korea strives to ensure that the experience of advanced countries in the field of physical culture and sports is taken into account in the educational processes of Korean universities. For this, graduates of the master’s degree are sent to graduate and doctoral studies at universities in the USA, Russia, Japan, France, which ensures the quality of training specialists in the field of physical culture and sports. Research methodology (materials and methods). In order to solve the tasks set, a set of a wide range of research methods was used: comparative analysis of physical education systems, historical analysis of foreign and Russian sources, logical analysis of archival documents, comparative analysis of the content and methodological support of programs and curricula for higher professional physical education, elementary analysis of the components of curricula and their content. Research results. By analyzing the results of scientific research, criteria for evaluating the quality of education were identified and, based on them, the advantages of professional physical education systems in Korean and Russian universities were determined. Within the framework of the study, the following quality criteria were determined: fundamentality; logic and consistency; professionalism; practice-orientedness; openness and accessibility; pedagogical practices; the structure of the educational process; control over the learning process.
