In the context of the high volatility of the external environment typical for the oil and gas industry, traditional methods of assessing the financial stability of enterprises are insufficient. The article examines modern approaches to improving the economic sustainability of oil and gas sector enterprises, pays special attention to the use of stress testing models for key factors such as oil and gas prices, production costs and changes in the regulatory environment, and shows the need to move to integrated risk management as the basis for the long-term economic sustainability of oil and gas sector enterprises.
