Integration of theatrical and choreographic arts in ballet theater

The article is devoted to the influence of various types of art on ballet theater in the XX century, which was very diverse, multifaceted and very intense. The author traces the emergence and development of new forms and variants of various expressive means in a ballet performance, which open up interesting and almost limitless opportunities for choreographers at the present time. Grotesque is considered as one of the most expressive means of theatrical art. The author examines various artistic techniques, new expressive means, themes and images that have been actively assimilated by choreographic art. As striking examples, a number of ballets with multi layered levels of perception, specially laid down the possibility of multi valued interpretation, are given. The scientific novelty lies in the establishment and tracing of these relationships through the prism of the improvement of choreographic art in the XXI century. As a result, the conclusion about the close and deep mutual influence of different species is substantiated.
