Integration of people with disabilities into the educational environment: assessment of experience and conditions

This paper examines the Russian and international experience in the field of education for people with disabilities. The article analyzes the current problems of integrating people with disabilities into the Russian higher education system. It compares the Russian model of education for HIA, historically oriented towards segregation, with the foreign experience of inclusive education. The study highlights the difference between the declared rights and reality, where social attitudes and lack of funding remain the main barriers to the full integration of people with disabilities into society.
