The article carries out a sociological analysis of the problem of advertising influence on the identity of youth. The author considers integration potential of the advertising institution. Experts in the field of advertising and the media evaluate the contemporary Russian advertising sector, and determine the degree of advertising influence on the younger generation. The study also discusses the problem of behaviour patterns formation by the advertising institution.
