Integrated estimation of the level of regional transport infrastructure development

The article presents theoretical and econometrical justification of the mutual interaction between transport infrastructure and regional socio-economic development. An approach to hierarchical estimation of the level of regional transport infrastructure development is suggested. The transport index for Privolzhsky Federal District regions is estimated by means of econometric analysis.
