An integrative approach to teaching foreign languages: organization of educational and cognitive activities of students in a specialized museum

The article is devoted to the application of an integrative approach in teaching foreign languages in a non-linguistic university. An analysis was made of an interactive extracurricular business English lesson using an integrative approach, organized in a specialized museum of forestry for students of the “Forestry” field of study. The main stages of the organization of educational and cognitive activity of students are outlined. The types and forms of work involved in the analyzed event are described, recommendations are made for organizing this type of training in specialized museums. The conclusion is formulated that an integrative approach to teaching foreign languages allows the implementation of interdisciplinary connections and contributes to the development of professional skills of future specialists.
