Intelligent transport systems on road transport

Today, the relevance of ITS is high as never before. And this is due, first of all, to the growing traffic load on the road network and large traffic jams. Another important and, perhaps, the most extensive area of application of ITS is ensuring road safety. The use of information technology does not bypass the public transport sector, where they also use intelligent video surveillance that detects left things and violations of public order; and subsystems of control and dispatching; and systems for communication and interaction of vehicles with each other and road infrastructure to optimize routes. And, of course, traffic management is another area of widespread use of ITS, where IT technologies are used to monitor the traffic situation and alert the situation center about various incidents. The ASUDD system, to which traffic lights with adaptive control and information boards are connected, allows you to control traffic and regulate traffic flows in real time.
