Intellectual analysis of production capabilities and consumption of agricultural products in the regions of the Russian Federation

Natural and climatic conditions in each region determine thespecifics ofagricultural development and are an important factor, as well as socio-economicpotential in general. Agricultureis developing in absolutelyall subjects of the Russian Federation, since it is a keycriterion for ensuring food and national securityof the country, also contributes to the organization ofemployment and self-employment in agricultural territories andattracting investment. Thearticleexamines and analyzes the trends and prospects for the development of agriculture in the Russian Federation at the present stage, assesses the level of self-sufficiency of Russia with basic agricultural products. An OLAP analysis of the production of agricultural products in the regions of Russia was carriedout, includinga cluster analysis oftheproduction of cropproducts and separatelyanimal husbandry, an interpretation of the selected clusters was given; a rating analysis of theconsumption of crop products and separately animal husbandry. The choice of indicators is based on the designated most important indicatorscontained in the Doctrine of Food Securityofthe Russian Federation. The OLAPanalysis of the production and consumption of agricultural products in the regions of the Russian Federation allows us to identifythe regions in which the largest share of agricultural product production is concentrated. These regions are significant from the point of view of ensuring food security in Russia as a whole. It is from them that products will be supplied throughout the country.
