The development intensity of phomopsis agent and resistance of sunflower hybrids in the conditions of ukraine

The article gives the results of tests of sunflower hybrids for resistance to the Phomopsis agent, productivity and duration of the growth season under the conditions of natural infection background of Volchanskaya State Variety Research Station in 2006-2012. The article describes the fluctuations in productivity and intensity of the disease development, depending on the weather conditions of the year. The hybrids with stable resistance to Phomopsis agent and with useful economic characteristics were identified.
