Interactive methods of teaching English in high schools of a general education institution as a means of intensifying and optimizing the process of learning a foreign language

The article is devoted to the study of interactive methods of teaching English in high school of a general education institution. We analyze the influence of interactive methods on the development of students' communication skills, their motivation and activity in the educational process. Special attention is paid to practical examples of the use of such methods as brainstorming, business game and cluster in English lessons.
