Modern approaches to medical education are increasingly focused not only on the transfer of knowledge, but also on the development of clinical thinking, communication skills, and the ability of students to make independent decisions in their professional practice. In this context, active and interactive teaching methods are becoming particularly relevant, as they aim to increase student engagement and foster sustained motivation for learning. This study examines various forms of interactive learning, including Research-Based Learning (RBL), clinical case discussions, simulation-based training, group work, and the use of digital educational platforms. These methods w ere implemented at Osh International Medical University by the faculty of the Department of Clinical Disciplines during the 2023-2024 academic year. The results demonstrated the high effectiveness of these methods in developing students’ research and organizational skills, enhancing teamwork, and building the ability to overcome professional challenges and self-doubt. The introduction of RBL was especially effective in stimulating students’ interest in scientific inquiry and strengthening their academic self-confidence. Thus, the integration of interactive learning approaches significantly improves the quality of training for international medical students and contributes to their successful adaptation and integration into the academic environment.
