Internationalization of educational programs at higher educational institutions of physical education and sports

The article is devoted to the study of the process of modernization of educational programs at universities of physical education and sports, as well as ways to increase their universality and consistency with similar programs in other countries in the context of ensuring the harmonization of the set of skills and knowledge necessary to maintain and develop higher education in the field of physical education and sports. In the course of the study, the existing curricula of industrial universities in Europe and the CIS countries were compared (N = 12), and representatives from the number of teachers and students of these organizations were interviewed (N = 170). The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the question of the internationalization of curricula at universities of physical education and sports with an emphasis on how to develop a joint curriculum for several countries and how the integration of the curriculum content can be achieved in practice has not yet been fully worked out.
