The development of an effective intracellular drug delivery system is one of the main areas of medicine and pharmacology. Despite significant advances in the development and creation of new therapeutic approaches, effective methods for the treatment of many socially significant diseaseshave not yet been developed. One of the current and promising directions in the field of new delivery vehicles is peptide sequences that have vector properties and are called cellular penetrating peptides (CPP). It is shown that peptides with similar properties can be an effective vehicle of intracellular delivery of a wide range of different substances, ranging from nanoparticles to peptides and full-size proteins.The purpose of this study was to analyze the current scientific, technical, regulatory and methodological literature on the search, development and application of peptide structures with the properties of intracellular internalization.
