The article presents a sociophilosophical analysis of Internet communication as a social phenomenon, which is considered in the aspect of the transformation of models of social interaction between people under the influence of Internet technologies. New opportunities provided by digital communication are inextricably linked with both primary socialization in the offline format and Internet socialization. Online communication is a factor that can have a positive or negative impact on the process of socialization in a modern digital society. The mechanism of the impact of Internet communication on socialization is considered as relatively stable and formed. As a result of the conducted research, it is concluded that in the context of Internet communication, a dialectical relationship is established between primary and secondary socialization, reflecting both their unity and contradictions. The basic concepts of social values and norms that make up the core of primary socialization are tested for relevance and significance in the course of Internet communication, and they correlate with normative value concepts that are developed by online communities in the process of user communication.
