Internet addiction of young people: problem statement

The article deals with one of the urgent problems of modern youth in Russia - the problem of Internet addiction. The research is aimed at studying the causes of Internet addiction, its types and consequences, a review of statistics on Internet use by young people in Russia of the 21st century. Analyzing the literature and statistics devoted to the problem of Internet addiction, we can conclude that the existing problem is relevant. It sharpens the problem of the idea of the future of Russian youth, overly enthusiastic about the Internet and technology. The author believes that the study of this problem should continue in order to prevent and reduce the risk of Internet addiction among young people. This article may be of interest to specialists in youth work, psychologists and students of humanities.
