Interpretation of Pyotr Stolypin's reform activity (1906-1911) in the modern historiography of the early XXI century

This year marks the 110th anniversary of the murder of the great Russian reformer Pyotr Stolypin. For more than a century, the interest of Russian historians in Stolypin's reform activities has not dried up. The study offers a brief analysis of the historiographical materials published at the beginning of the XXI century, analyzing Stolypin's reform activity. Agricultural issues dominate in these scientific studies, but other aspects of modernization transformations are also described. Development by modern researchers of the issues of the governance in Russia at that time is viewed as well as the study of transformations in the field of culture. A brief historiographical analysis shows that Stolypin's personality nowadays remains the object of special attention of researchers, and the interest is constantly expanding.
