Intertextuality in British and American political discourse: contrastive analysis

The article focuses on developing a contrastive approach to intertextual entities (quotations and allusions) which function in political discourse of Great Britain and the USA. The purpose of identifying general and specific features of intertextuality results in working out a set of parameters which enable the author to define linguistic and cultural differences of each national discourse.
