Intertextual quasi-mythological stories in the works of E. T. A. Hoffmann (case study of the novel “The golden pot: a modern fairytale”)

The article deals with the “new mythology" as an idea of representatives of the German romanticism. The author considers the relevance of the inserted quasi-mythological story as an element of intensification of an intrinsic meaning studying the case of E.T.A. Hoffmann’s novel “The Golden Pot: A Modern Fairytale".
