The results of treatment were studied in 7 patients (9 segments) with the congenital developmental anomalies of forearm who were subjected to distraction osteosynthesis techniques in combination with stressed intramedullary reinforcement using wires. The mean increment obtained was 6,4±0,3 cm (49±6 %), the mean index of osteosynthesis - 21,2±0,9 day/cm. The roentgenological studies made and the ultrasonography data of distraction regenerate bone point to more active reparative regeneration of bone tissue when intramedullary stressed reinforcement with wires is used. The analysis of comparison with the groups of patients who were not subjected to intramedullary reinforcement and with the data of literature has demonstrated that the technique mentioned allows to reduce osteosynthesis periods significantly in the process of forearm bone lengthening
