Investment activity in the form of concession agreements in Russia

The article deals with the Russian government practice to conclude concession agreements throughout the history of their application in the country. The necessity to attract investments from the private sector in the form of concession agreements for qualitative and faster development of the country in cases where a significant amount of investment, the state is often not able to cope with, is considered. The undoubted impact of such a form of investment activities on the economic growth and development of the country, increase of its competitiveness at the world market, infrastructural development, as well as the solution of important problems occurring in the country, is shown in the article.
