Investment attractiveness and investment activity of the region: directions of activation of economic development centers

The problem of economic development in an underdeveloped region remains complex and urgent. The article defines and connects the main structural elements of the investment climate of the region. The indicators forming investment attractiveness are considered. A review of the legislative framework on the investment climate shows a long-term perspective for the inflow of foreign investment. Along with this, the article discusses and examines the relationship between the development of the region and the theories of Crystaller and Pareto. The analysis of the flow of foreign investment and the tracing of high differentiation identifies the most vulnerable regions of the country. The positive dynamics of the increase in the share of foreign investments confirms the qualitative growth of the economy due to the increase in the share of value added in the real sector of the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
