Investment aspects of the international technology transfer in the interests of sustainable development

This article tackles the key matters of development of international investment cooperation as a critical condition of effective green technology transfer. These technologies are essential for ensuring the transition to sustainable development and achieving its goals. The author illustrates the complex difficulties arising in process of mobilizing the “green” investments and, respectively, hindering the progress in addressing the tasks 6-8 of SGD No 17 that provides for the involvement on developing countries in an exchange of environmentally sound technologies. The increased attention is paid to role of international structures facilitating the coordinated solution of these problems.
