The investment programs of natural monopolies in the regional development context

The article describes the investment activities of natural monopolies in terms of its impact on the development of the territories. The basic disadvantages of regional regulation and management are shown, approaches to eliminate existing gaps in the legislation are proposed. The characteristics of the financing of monopoly's investment programs are analyzed, shows that in the current economic environment is the most effective use of public-private partnership whose potential in the regions not yet fully exhausted.
