In article the author pays special attention to the procedural problems connected with absence in the existing procedural legislation of concept of the line-up decoy. The author carries out the analysis of this institution through assignment to the procedure of identification of a person, and also initiates improvement to the working Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
