Engineering education in China - analysis of educational initiative

The importance of quality engineering education becomes especially relevant for the leading countries of the world, including China. The article analyses the national strategic policy of China in the field of innovative development aimed at adaptation to the new economy and leadership. The main attention is paid to the New Engineering Education initiative, which aims to train highly qualified engineering personnel capable of meeting modern challenges and needs of innovative development.
