The article is devoted to the important issues of management culture. There are examined the motivational strategies of contemporary Russian officials. The causes and factors of development of bureaucracy and bureaucratic tendencies in the management culture are analyzed. The survey of the influence of career orientation on functioning of the career lift is given.
