This article offers a philosophical interpretation of artificial intelligence (AI), not as a purely technical or applied phenomenon, but as a deeply metaphysical category that reflects a transformation in the very foundations of thinking, subjectivity, and being. AI is examined as a symptom of the shift from classical logos to algorithmic rationality, from subject-centered ontology to a distributed, virtual, and simulated reality. The study demonstrates that AI functions as a new ontological operator, embodying the characteristics of an ultimate philosophical concept. Through the lens of philosophical traditions - from Aristotle and Heidegger to Baudrillard and Deleuze - the idea of AI is revealed as a space of metaphysical potential and a crisis in distinguishing between presence and its simulation, between thought and its techno-copy. The article aims to revitalize philosophical discourse in an age where the boundary between the real and the possible demands new reflection.
