The text discusses the legal regulation of artificial intelligence (AI), starting with the historical context of the Northeast International Conference on AI and Law in 1987. The concept of legal subjectivity is considered, including debates on whether AI can have legal status or rights. Various viewpoints are presented, including those against the legal subjectivity of AI due to its lack of independent will and inability to autonomously exercise rights. The text concludes that currently no legal system recognizes AI as a subject of law, instead considering it more as an object within legal frameworks.
