Islam in the building of the state

The place and role of the state building of Islam lies in the fact that the laws and principles of organizing society and the state within the framework of the religious system were already sent down to Muslims from the very beginning. These principles and norms were historically perceived by the ulama (the learned ones) to organize one state based on the Islamic community (ummah), and not many different nation-states based on the nation (consisting of different faiths) and geographical territory.
