Islamization of the Balkan: Bosnian and Albanian types

The article examines the Islamization of the population of the Balkan Peninsula. Particular attention is paid to the prerequisites and reasons for this phenomenon. The author analyzes the events in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania, as well as social and religious contradictions that arose in these territories in the 15th - 17th centuries. Special attention is paid to different points of view on this process.
