Islamic radicalism as the religious and political phenomenon in the modern scientific discourse

The article analyzes two points of view on Islamic radicalism and discovers its reasons. The research examines Islamic radicalism in the context of opposition of the classical and nonclassical paradigms of international relations. The authors conclude that Islamic radicalism is the archaic religious version of the global westernization, and it does not search for mechanisms to ensure the cultural identity of Muslims.
