Implementation of the municipal budget as a stimulation for business development

The article examines some of the problems of the socio-economic situation of the city of Smolensk for the period from 2017 to 2019. The growth trend was replaced by a fall in a number of key indicators. The reasons for the reduction of the revenue side of the city budget are analyzed. The problems of interaction between the budget of the municipal formation and the development of entrepreneurship in the region are considered. The influence of tax regulation and subsidies both on the formation of the budget of the municipality and on the development of entrepreneurial activity and increasing its role in the social regulation of economic processes has been substantiated
