The use of authentic video in increasing motivation to foreign language learning

The article is devoted to the use of authentic video materials in teaching foreign languages. Different approaches to the definition of authentic materials and the role of authentic video materials in teaching of foreign language are presented. The article also offers a set of techniques for working with authentic video materials, which is an effective tool for developing lexical, listening and speaking skills of pupils.
