The introduction of information technology in education is an urgent and objective necessity. New informational technology makes learning physics in a fascinating process, contributing to the development of students’ research skills. This article describes some of the theoretical aspects of the application of informational technology in teaching physics and author’s experience in the use of digital laboratories in physics lessons and in extracurricular activities.
