The article deals with topical issues of the use of digital technologies in the activities of a specific retail network - grocery retail. The problems of ensuring the optimal level of stocks of trade and material values to meet consumer demand and profit are outlined. The necessity of introducing the technology of digitalization of trade inventory management and loyalty system, taking into account changes in behavior and needs of the modern consumer, is substantiated. The algorithm of implementation of the proposed measures is developed, the economic justification of their effectiveness is presented.
