The use of distance learning technologies in teaching mathematics

In this article, we will study and consider what are the prospects for using distance learning in mathematics lessons, as well as what are the requirements for mathematics teachers in the conditions of an informative educational environment of an educational organization. Currently, a mathematics teacher must be competent in information and communication technologies. A modern teacher at the general user level should be able to: work with a text editor; work with spreadsheets; use e-mail and a browser; multimedia equipment. This is at a fairly high level for most teachers. It is easier for a young teacher to find a common language with ICT than an older teacher. ICT is necessary for a teacher to implement e-learning, as well as the introduction of distance technologies. Thanks to distance learning, the proportion of students' independent work will increase, develop the ability to search, analyze, and generalize information
