The use of dual training method in preparation of the future police officers in official educational establishment: between education and experience

Introduction: the urgency of the topic lies in the need to strengthen the practical component in the training of police officers of the Russian Federation. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the efficiency of foreign experience of police training (for example, the dual method of teaching in Germany). Materials and Methods: the author used theoretical research methods: systemic analysis, synthesis, modeling, descriptive, comparative analysis of police training programmes in Germany and the Russian Federation. Results: a comparative analysis of foreign experience of police training with the use of the dual method and the features of organization of educational process on training of police in domestic departmental educational organizations was carried out. Discussion and Conclusions: the author proposes to use actively the potential of the dual method, implemented with the training of police officers in Germany, and makes suggestions for improving the methods of teaching future police officers, stressing the particular importance of the selection of personnel for pedagogical work in the departmental University.
