The use of martial arts in tactical and special training of police officers

The article examines the role of martial arts in the tactical and special training of police officers as a key element in the formation of professional combat capability. An in-depth analysis of the problems of implementation is carried out, including the gap between the training process and the street reality, the lack of qualified instructors, psychological barriers and material constraints. Comprehensive solutions are offered: scenario-based training, integration of psychological training, individual programs and competitive forms. Specific examples of successful arrests using wrestling techniques and innovations such as virtual reality, biomechanical simulators and updated instructions from the Ministry of Internal Affairs aimed at improving the effectiveness and versatility of law enforcement skills are given.
