The purpose of the article is to present the experience of using gaming technology to develop the creative abilities of schoolchildren. The content of lessons with the use of gaming technologies is implemented in the developed and tested methods of organizing and conducting them, the experience of playing games with visual aids - video materials and computer graphics. The author in practice determines the peculiarities of conducting intellectual games in the confined environment of the classroom, examines the educational and educational results of gaming technologies that contribute to the active manifestation of creative abilities.
