Using anti-drug AIPSIN "The information and search system" in the research of narcotic drugs

The examination of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors is one of the most important investigative actions in the investigation of crimes in the field of illicit drug trafficking, serves as the basis for establishing the very fact of the crime event. The author considers some problems existing at the present stage of performing diagnostic examinations of new narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, in particular, the need to use constantly updated libraries of mass spectra, as well as the possibility of using the in-formation search system “AIPSIN Anti-Drugs 2.0” in the production of this type of examinations. Particular attention is paid to the identification of compounds using the modules “Mass spectral identifier” and “Chromatomass spectral identifier”. The article discusses in detail the spectral and chromatographic information processing tools built into these modules and the parameters of the compounds under study that can be determined with their help.
