The article compares traditional drug distribution networks and networks that are created in the dark web. Various aspects of conventional drug distribution networks are analyzed, including inefficiency, product counterfeiting and systemic violence. In contrast, dark distribution networks are associated with high levels of efficiency, improved product quality, and minimal violence. It also analyzes the various relationships that are formed in the network between drug suppliers, retailers and consumers. The online drug trade is viewed from a law enforcement perspective. Various approaches are being explored related to the control of cryptocurrency markets, including specialized covert operations, mail interception, evidence gathering, and domestic prosecution. Crypto markets are seen as entering a new phase of activity characterized by increased competition, diversity and innovation.
