Use of internet blogs and social networks in Russian policy

In the conditions of an actively developing information society, the ways of transferring information are undergoing serious changes. Traditional media are losing their importance, while Internet blogs and social networks are gaining in popularity as a new communication channel. The article examines the history of development and modern trends in the use of Internet blogs and social networks in the political process, the role of which is steadily growing in the modern world.
