He electromagnetic waves azimuthal backscattering effect's usage by metastructure based on Tellegen's particles in electrodynamic applications

In this paper the electromagnetic waves azimuthal backscattering effect by single Tellegen’s particle and by two-dimensional periodical array of Tellegen’s particles is considered. It is shown that Tellegen element and element with special cylindrical spiral form have the same electrodynamic properties. The influence of geometrical parameters of elements and metastructure on field scattering characteristics in whole. The results of applying of chiral metamaterials, that are based on Tellegen’s elements for certain problems of the energy harvesting, the decreasing of radar objects’ visibility in wide UHF and SHF frequency ranges. The using’s perspectives of metamaterials by devices and structures designing for quasioptic and optic wave ranges are shown as well.
