The article deals with the simultaneous use of elements of several educational paradigms in learning a foreign business language in a higher school. The importance of the "Foreign Business Language" course as one of the conditions of education and training of future specialists is stressed. The authors consider mutually supportive value of the elements of cognitive, competence and personality-oriented educational paradigms for the effective organization of workshops in the course of "Foreign Business Language" teaching.
