Usage of VIR collection in breeding work with castor

Materials on usage of VIR collection in different directions of castor breeding: for creation varieties with uric racked capsules resistant to mechanic harvest, different ripeness groups, with high content of ricinolic acid in oil of castor seeds, with oil content of seeds 50- 55 % and seed yield 1.8-2.2 t/ha, are reported.
