Use of Logistic Approaches to Optimize the Carrier's Activities

The article considers the key logistic approaches used in optimizing the activities of a transport company. Special attention is paid to five key areas: route network optimization, efficient fleet management, information support, outsourcing and building relationships with customers. The author analyzes the relationship between these components and their impact on the transport system as a whole. The presented logistic approaches allow organizing complex solutions to improve the freight transportation process.
